Joe Biden refused to use his UN veto to block a resolution on an immediate Gaza ceasefire. Due to this, the UN will be getting more involved in the Gaza War, putting a target on Israel’s back. America’s News Desk says:
The UN Security council has now officially passed a resolution demanding Israel immediately enter into a ceasefire in its ongoing war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
And for the first time ever the Biden administration allowed the resolution to pass without using its veto power, a move that is seen a direct rebuke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

This move will contribute to Israel digging into its position even more. Israel has had to contend with the UN since its creation, and will not heed the resolution. The only end to the war will be if the US gives Israel an ultimatum to back down, or when Hamas is cleared from Gaza.
