Joe Biden has hardened his anti-Israel line by addressing pro-Hamas protesters in the United States. America’s News Desk reports:
Over the past few months, as the anti-Israel, and often antisemitic, leftwing base threatens his re-election prospects in places like Michigan, Joe Biden has begun taking more radical steps to side with Palestine in its war against Israel.
That was on full display in Raleigh, North Carolina, recently when pro-Palestine protests interrupted a speech about healthcare being delivered by the president before about 200 people.
Earlier in the week, the White House turned its back on the hundreds of hostages being held by Hamas by refusing to veto a resolution by the anti-Israel United Nations Security Council that called for a ceasefire without releasing the over 100 people still held by the terror group.
The move saw Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, cancel meetings with the United States.
The leftwing base that the president claims “has a point” is connected to a pro-Palestine movement that saw students at Columbia University celebrate terrorists hijacking airplanes, the activists at Vanderbilt University who recently took over their chancellor’s office, claiming that the university was “supporting genocide” by not attacking Israel, and protestors who recently disrupted a convocation at the University of Michigan.
Biden, who claims to support Israel, is in a tough spot politically because much of the Democratic Party hates the Jewish nation. During a rally shortly after the largest killing of Jews since the Holocaust, for example, “Squad” member Democratic Congressman Jamaal Bowman claimed that verified accounts of the killing of children and sexual assaults by Hamas was “propaganda.”
Another Democrat, Rashida Tlaib, has led protests against Biden in Michigan because the president has claimed to support Israel’s right to defend itself. The Michigan representative has been accused of fundraising with members of Hamas.
The longe the conflict drags on with Hamas in power, the more destruction will occur. In addition, Trump’s chances to win in the election will grow, as nothing Biden does will be enough to satisfy the pro-Hamas faction.
