The Democrat controlled Senate has dismissed the impeachment of Secretary Mayorkas. This has never happened in the history of the country, and is sure to inflame opposition to Joe Biden’s border policy even more. America’s News Desk reports:
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) strongly criticized Senate Democrats this week as impeachment procedures for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas commenced in the upper chamber of Congress.
Cruz expressed his views at the latest installment of his “Verdict” podcast, where he was joined by co-host Ben Ferguson.
“Democrats are willing to throw the Constitution in the trash in order to avoid any national attention on the disaster that is playing out on our southern border,” Cruz said.
Cruz asserts that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer intends to obfuscate the border situation by evading a trial in the Senate.
Schumer is trying to avoid holding a trial for Alejandro Mayorkas's impeachment.

Democrats are desperately trying to cover up the evidence about the lawless Biden Border Crisis.
The media won't present the evidence. Get the facts on Verdict 👇https://t.co/7uqrSi7VEI pic.twitter.com/sHhTD6cA1z“Schumer and the Democrats are terrified of the evidence of the suffering of the people who’ve died, of the people of the children who’ve been sexually assaulted, of the women who’ve been sexually assaulted, of the fentanyl deaths and the drug overdose deaths. He doesn’t want that evidence put before the American people.” Cruz remarked.
“Why does Chuck Schumer want to avoid a trial? Because he’s desperate to protect the Democrat senators on the ballot from the consequences from the deaths and suffering and people who are suffering misery, because of their open border politics and policies, which they intend to continue, and Schumer, this is all about political camouflage.” he added.
While Mayorkas would likely have escaped convition, this is proof that Democrats will use any trick in the book, even if it violates the Constitution, to escape public scrutiny.
