A majority of Independents support the physical removal of most if not all illegal immigrants. This comes following 3 years of catastrophic border policy, where tens of thousands of illegals from all around the world streamed through the Southern border. America’s News Desk says:
A recent poll revealed that over 60% of Independents believe that the majority or all illegal immigrants who are presently in the United States should be deported.
According to the Reuters/Ipsos poll, a substantial majority of independents are in favor of the policy, with 61 percent of respondents indicating that they believe the United States should deport illegal immigrants.
The policy was endorsed by an even greater percentage of registered Republicans, with 85 percent of them expressing their support for the deportation of the majority or all of the illegal immigrants currently residing in the United States.The former Republican President, Donald Trump, has made mass deportations a central campaign promise.
In anticipation of a more extensive immigration crackdown, he and his associates have begun to develop executive orders and policies.
Registered Democrats were the sole demographic that expressed their opposition to the deportation of unlawful immigrants, with only 26% of respondents indicating that they endorse the policy.
Despite the widespread public support for the deportation of illegal immigrants, the poll also revealed that 54% of respondents, or just over half, are opposed to the use of detention facilities for illegal immigrants prior to their deportation.
The poll, which was conducted online and sampled 3,208 registered voters across the country, is one of numerous recent public opinion surveys that have addressed immigration and could potentially pose a challenge to incumbent President Joe Biden.
The Southern Border crisis is entirely Joe Biden’s doing, destroying Trump’s Remain in Mexico policy. Border policy is high on all voters’ agenda, and will likely help Trump in his reelection campaign.
