A new poll explains how the American people feel about Joe Biden. More than 70% of Americans feel that Joe Biden is unfit to be President, regardless of his policies. This is a shocking number, more than two thirds, which could tank his chances for the Presidency. America’s News Desk says:

Nearly three-fourths of respondents doubt President Joe Biden is qualified to serve after his weak debate performance last week, according to a new poll.

72% of registered voters do not think that Joe Biden, 81, has the mental and cognitive capacity to be president, while 27% do.This information was obtained by CBS News and YouGov.

Registered Democrats believe Biden lacks the skills necessary for the job; this is a 10-point increase from the 29% who felt this way earlier in June to 41%.

By comparison, Donald Trump, the 78-year-old former president, is seen by half of registered voters as having the mental and cognitive capacity to serve as president, while 49% disagree.

On June 9, three weeks prior, CBS News and YouGov discovered that a greater number of voters who are registered to vote thought that Biden was qualified to serve as commander in chief.

At the time, 35% of respondents felt that Biden had the mental and cognitive capacity for the position, while 65% of respondents did not believe he was suitable to serve.

Based on a nationwide sample of 1,130 registered voters contacted between June 28 and 29, 2024, the survey was conducted.

The debate has made Biden’s impression worse, which is not likely to improve in the lead up to the election. This means that the Democrat party could pressure him to step down from reelection, though his family seems to want him to stay in for the time being.
