Kamala Harris has admitted that grocery prices have soared since the COVID emergency, including brad and beef rising by over 50%. America’s News Desk says:

On Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris reportedly acknowledged that grocery prices were lower during the Biden-Harris administration than they were during the administration of former President Donald Trump.

During a speech to supporters in Raleigh, North Carolina, Harris addressed the increasing cost of foodstuffs and introduced a proposal to regulate food prices in a manner reminiscent of the Soviet Union’s methods, which resulted in significant food shortages.

Harris acknowledged that the cost of a loaf of bread has increased by 50% since “before the pandemic,” when Trump was in office, while advocating for the federal government to intervene in food price regulation, a socialist policy that has been wildly derided by economists.

“As president, I will take on the high costs that matter most to most Americans like the cost of food. We all know that prices went up during the pandemic when the supply chains shut down and failed, but our supply chains have now improved, and prices are still too high. A loaf of bread costs 50% more today than it did before the pandemic. Ground beef is up almost 50%.” Harris said.

According to Yahoo Finance dairy products, including milk, cheese, and butter, have increased in price by over 30% since 2020, in addition to bread and minced beef.

The average increase in the price of cereal across the country is 28%, while the price of eggs has increased by 54%.

Kamala claims to be a challenger, but she remains a government official who has power and influence to try to change things. Her failure until now should serve as a cautionary tale to what could happen to Americans if she becomes President.
