Before accessing the mainland, Pimentel Soriano illegally entered the United States through Puerto Rico and utilized a fraudulent New York ID.
According to authorities, the family was murdered within their residence in Irondequoit on August 31 previous to the house being set on fire. Fraime Ubaldo, 30, Marangely Moreno-Santiago, 26, Evangeline Ubaldo-Moreno, 4, and Sebastian Ubaldo-Moreno, 2, all lost their lives.

However, the department did not provide any specific details regarding the murders.
In connection with the massacre, Pimentel Soriano was apprehended on Saturday and has been charged with second-degree murder.
