Top Democrat Says One Thing Could Cause Biden Defeat

James Carville, a senior Democrat strategist who has worked for the Bill Clinton campaign, declared that the Israel conflict is the biggest impediment to Biden’s success. Trump’s foreign policy record remains one of Trump’s biggest accomplishment relative to Biden, who has gone from crisis to crisis. America’s News Desk has the story:

During an interview over the weekend, Democrat strategist James Carville expressed his belief that if Democrats were to lose in the upcoming November elections, Israel would bear responsibility.

Carville made the comments during a Sunday MSNBC interview with former Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki while discussing Israel’s reaction to Hamas’ October 7 terrorist attack.

“This Gaza stuff, this is not just a problem with some snot-nosed Ivy League people. This is a problem all across the country. And I hope the president and Blinken can get this thing calmed down because if it doesn’t get calmed down before the Democratic convention, it’s going to be a very ugly time in Chicago. I promise you that.” Carville said.

“No matter what happens, I know it’s a huge problem. And the uncommitted will do fairly well. And Trump got 60% in the South Carolina Republican primary and we had idiots in the press saying he ran away with it. Well McCarthy got 40% in New Hampshire and that got Lyndon Johnson out of the race.” he continued.

“So uncommitted gets 40%, that’s going to be not a particularly positive sign. But we already know. You and I know that this is a problem in the party. And I think the president knows that, really knows that, he’s being told that. And they’re gonna have to tell Bibi Netanyahu, ‘Hey, dude, we are not going to lose our election because you stand to go to jail. You have to think of something else.’” Carville added.

Carville’s prediction looks mostly true, the Democrat Party hasn’t seen such a division in many years. While primaries usually cause divisions, they also provide unity as well once the nominee is selected. Biden’s “middle of the road” approach could cost him crucial votes in Michigan and Minnesota, which he needs to win.
